I started my gliding journey in June 2021, when the instructors were ready to start flying again after the last Covid lockdown, and I flew my first solo in July 2022. Working my way through the badges and qualifications I passed my Bronze in March 2025 followed by my Cross Country Endorsement and qualified to apply for my SPL in June 2025.
Outside gliding, my main passion is music, and I spent the early part (and more recently too!) as a professional musician, playing the bass guitar.
